Katy Perry Reacts to Viral PH๏τo of Orlando Bloom Appearing to Check Out Kim Kardashian
Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, and Kim Kardashian attended the same event, posing for pH๏τos together when one caught the Internet’s attention.
No bad blood here.
Katy Perry is speaking out after a pH๏τo of her fiancé Orlando Bloom seemingly checking out Kim Kardashian’s, err, ᴀssets has gone viral.
The image, which was snapped on Sept. 9 at the Kering Caring for Women Dinner during New York Ready to Wear Fashion Week, features the Pirates of the Caribbean star standing behind the “Woman’s World” singer at the event, while his gaze seemed to land on the reality star’s curves in a figure-hugging ensemble she described as a “3D Molded Liquid Rubber Balenciaga Wet Dress.”
But Katy, who wore a strapless aqua blue sequin Balenciaga gown to the event, wasn’t threatened by the moment. If anything, she understands completely.
After radio DJ Elvis Duran mentioned the “clickbait” pH๏τo of Orlando’s cheeky glance during his Sept. 10 show, he noted, “I mean how could you not?”
The 39-year-old shrugged off the moment, saying, “I approve,” later asking, “So wait, what’s the controversy?”
In fact, Katy and Kim, 43, were pH๏τographed deep in conversation at the event, looking very friendly.
As for Katy and Orlando, 47, the couple, who share 4-year-old daughter Daisy, are used to tuning out outside noise.
After initially getting together in 2016, Katy recently shared some insight into how they maintain a healthy relationship for the sake of their family.
“We want to evolve that’s I think why we’re in our relationship is to become better humans so we can raise this beautiful human being,” she said on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast on Sept. 4. “It’s been different layers. The more we do the work, the more we find the next level.”
Reflecting on their time in couple’s counseling, the “Wide Awake” singer noted that it’s an ongoing process.
“Sometimes we get stuck,” she admitted, “and we’re like, ‘OK, let’s go in to do the work and this is going to be annoying, and I don’t want to do it. We don’t have the time. I’m tired.’ But we’re gonna do it. And we find the next level. That’s why we’re continuing in the relationship.”
