Kendall Jenner Debuts Dramatic Hair Transformation That Has the Internet in a Chokehold

Just days after Kendall Jenner made headlines for sporting a short pixie-style haircut in a new Calvin Klein ad campaign, the model debuted yet another all-new hairstyle—and fans can’t get enough.

Jenner shared a series of pH๏τos and video clips to Instagram on Wednesday, Sept. 11, where the reality star’s hair was a soft blonde color, hanging to her shoulders in a layered cut. In some sH๏τs, she wore a wide black headband; in others, her hair was up in a clip.

“Blonded,” she captioned her post.

Commenters—including Jenner’s famous sisters—were quick to express their approval.

“Damn,” wrote Khloe Kardashian.

“You did it!!! ✨✨✨” commented Kim Kardashian (known for going blonde herself from time to time).

“Stoppp itttt omg,” Gigi Hadid raved, with Hailey Bieber agreeing: “Exactly.”

“You look so H๏τ 😍😍😍Like a blonde barbie🔥🔥🔥,” added a fan.

Colorist-to-the-stars Jenna Perry spoke to Vogue about the process of transforming Jenner’s formerly brunette ‘do.

“It took me two days to take her this gorgeous shade of golden blonde,” Perry says. “She is really inspired by the ’90s and Caroline Bessette-Kennedy right now.”

Of course, as Jenner fans know, this isn’t the first time the 28-year-old has gone golden. Years ago, she dyed her hair a warm honey shade for the 2019 Burberry Show during LondonFashion Week. More recently, she experimented with being a redhead for the 2022 Prada Show in Milan.

As for how long Jenner will keep her lighter locks, that remains to be seen—but she doesn’t tend to switch up her look as often as big sister Kim.
