Kendall Jenner just shared her busy-girl shower hack

Kendall Jenner is a busy woman. When she’s not opening the Paris Fashion Week runway, or plotting out the next move for her Tequila brand, 818, she’s locking down business deals. The latest? Today Kenny’s been announced as the new Global Ambᴀssador of L’Oreal where she’ll be leading the brand’s makeup campaigns from September (starting with a liquid matte lip product, so hold tight).

But aside from being “honoured to be part of a new sisterhood of strong, powerful women,” Kendall’s got the practicalities of juggling life and work down, too, courtesy of a savvy shortcut to save her time and faff in the morning. “My daily routine is quite simple,” she revealed during a Q&A for her new role. “I’ve found that less is more. I’m a night showerer,” she said, which means she can shave off time in the morning. “I get up, brush my teeth and wash my face,” she explained adding, “I love drinking lots of water when I first wake up. I consider that a part of my beauty routine. At night, I shower and wash my face again. Make sure I’m nice and moisturised and get myself to bed.”

And, for all the morning showerers shuddering out there, it turns out Kendall might be onto something. According to a GP and a skin doctor, night showers may actually be the more hygienic option, since you’re likely to be more covered in grime, pollution and airborne allergens at the end of a long day, than at the start of it. “A morning shower is probably more popular with people as it awakens the senses and refreshes you ready for the day ahead, however it’s not necessarily better for you,” Doctor Aragona Giuseppe, GP and medical advisor at Prescription Doctor, previously told GLAMOUR. It’s down to personal preference he said, but night showers mean you won’t bring dirt and grime into bed, and they offer up a chance for your mind to wind down ahead of going to sleep.
