Kendall Jenner Kicked Off NYFW With A Micro-Fringe And Shaved Brows

Kendall Jenner has marked the beginning of Fashion Month, debuting a transformational hair and make-up look via Instagram this weekend. The model looked nothing short of ethereal and unrecognisable to say the least, debuting a fluffy micro-fringe and shaved pencil brows for fashion brand Marni’s most recent Fall/Winter 24 campaign.

The statement hairstyle sees Jenner’s signature glossy locks take on a new lease of life, with a lightened hue, rough texture and a full set of extensions. The cherry-on-the-top, however, is undoubtedly her blunt micro-fringe, which sits high on her forehead to reveal a faint set of blocked out, pencil thin brows. Avant-garde and miles away from Kendall’s trademark supermodel look.

This isn’t the first time that Jenner has teased an entirely new hairstyle this month. Just last week, the 28-year-old showcased a bold, shaggy micro-shaggy micro-bob haircut haircut for another campaign for Calvin Klein. Complete with a fluffy fringe and choppy layers, the ‘do had a similarly undone feel to Kendall’s Marni ensemble, but boasted a classic, shiny elegance as opposed to an edgier, modern finish. Not to mention, it stole headlines for highlighting the uncanny resemblance between the model and her mother, Kris Jenner.

Jenner’s younger sister Kylie couldn’t help but join in with the Fashion Month fun, also taking to Instagram to share the ultimate hairstyle throwback: a bright teal colour that nodded to her iconic 2014 ‘King Kylie’ era.

While all of three of these statement looks are almost certainly wigs, it’s safe to say that they’ve made a convincing case for an autumn hairstyle overhaul and that we’ll be enjoying the sister’s September beauty phases all the same. Who doesn’t love a hairstyle chameleon, after all?
