Kendall Jenner Looks Just Like Kris With Her Dramatic New Pixie Haircut
While Kendall Jenner has dabbled with honey blonde, golden chocolate, and even copper red hair throughout her modeling career, she always seems to go back to her signature dark brunette hue. The Victoria’s Secret alum typically wears her brown hair styled with a middle part, work-up-like-this texture, and face-framing pieces, but she went for a beauty 180 when she debuted her shortest chop yet. Jenner’s new pixie cut makes her look just like mom Kris – and the chic Audrey Hepburn-inspired look is about to pop up on fall hairstyle inspiration boards everywhere.
Jenner debuted the dramatic short haircut in a new campaign video for Calvin Klein shared on Instagram, and the resemblance to the Momager was striking. The androgynous pixie cut featured layered bangs and shaggy pieces throughout, giving the model a certain French cool girl aesthetic as she modeled pieces from the designer’s new Calvin Klein Studio line as well as some new sportswear pieces. In the video, Jenner could be seen hanging out at the beach wearing H๏τ pants paired with a black leather jacket, and driving away in a convertible while dressed in a very CK ‘90s-esque black slip dress and black combat boots.
While it’s not clear whether Kendall’s new ‘do is a wig or an actual chop, it’s not the first time that one of the Jenner sisters has tried to recreate their mom’s iconic hairstyle. Little sister Kylie previously attempted to copy the look back in February, sharing sultry pH๏τos of her new baby bob with the hilarious caption, “Kris Jenner is quaking.” However, the makeup maven’s version of the pixie was slightly less dramatic than her big sister’s, with a slightly longer chin-length style and face-framing pieces.
The momager hasn’t shared how she feels about Kendall’s new look, but she teased Kylie when her youngest daughter tried to mimic her short hairstyle. “You’re not even the fart,” she commented on Kylie’s post at the time, referencing Ice Spice’s song with the lyrics, “Think you the sh*t, bitch? You not even the fart.”
Only time will tell whether Kendall keeps this shorter cut heading into fall, but considering her auburn hair transformation led to people dying their hair “Kendall Jenner Red” a few years ago, there’s definitely a chance that fans will be taking a page out of the model’s beauty book.
