Kendall Jenner struggled to make friends over Keeping Up With The Kardashians

Kendall Jenner has revealed she struggled to make friends when she was younger after shooting to fame on Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

The 26-year-old supermodel was still in school when she first appeared on the hit reality TV show in 2007. And this caused problems, she says, as her classmates only wanted to come over so they could appear on the show.

In a preview clip for Thursday’s episode of The Kardashians, Kendall said she began ‘putting walls up’ as it made her so ‘uncomfortable’.

“When it comes to like friends being on the show, it went back a really long time to when I was in middle school,” she shared.

Recalling what it was like for her back then, Kendall continued: “The show had just started and like friends at school were a little sus.

“They just wanted to come over to be on it [the show], or something like that, so my walls went up then.

“I also just get uncomfortable. I didn’t want to be like ‘hey, come be on my show’. I don’t know, it was always kind of weird for me.

“But now I think I’ve gotten a lot more comfortable with it.”

These days Kendall is often seen out with her famous pals including Hailey Bieber, sisters Gigi and Bella Hadid and singer Fai Khadra.

She revealed she is picky about who she lets in her inner circle and shared they are the only ones who hang on because ‘when they make commitments they mean it’.

Back in 2018, Kendall spoke out about ‘crying every day’ when she was younger as little sister Kylie had more friends than her.

Speaking on Beats 1 radio show, Zaza World Radio, she said: “I was sitting in my room a lot of days crying because Kylie had so many friends.

“I didn’t know what to do. It’s gonna make me emotional right now. I really was like ‘I’m never gonna have friends.’”
