Kendall Jenner’s Met Gala Dress Was Made From A Single Piece of String

Kendall Jenner doesn’t need to wear much to look fantastic, and in case you needed further proof, take a gander at this supremely see-through number she wore to the Met Gala Monday evening.

Jenner is a devotee of the sheer/mesh material look and she brought her preferred aesthetic to fashion’s biggest night. The model made her way up the famous Met Museum steps in a La Perla creation, which boasted a giant keyhole cutout across the torso and a thigh high split that put her stems on full display. From the rear view, folks got an eyeful, as the dress’s low back and very see-through material revealed the model’s lacy thong and toned tush. “It’s pretty Sєxual but, it’s cool and I always like something that’s a little controversial,” Jenner dished to Allure about the dress.

While the piece looks like it may have been a doozy to put together so seamlessly, according to Elle, it is made out of a single string. La Perla creative director Julia Haart confirmed that “It’s a very strong, very flexible, incredibly thin piece of nylon, and we’ve strung 85,000 crystals onto it.”

That’s it – just an ‘ol piece of string with lots and lots of bling attached to it. Which is fitting, since, like we said, Kendall really doesn’t need much to look fantastic.
