Kim Kardashian was back in the Marilyn Monroe mindset for a new pH๏τoshoot posted to her Instagram Wednesday.
While the reality star, 43, didn’t specify if the mostly black-and-white pics — which were styled by Soki Mak and lensed by Michael Bailey Gates — were for a specific magazine or brand partnership, she set tongues wagging in a tiny animal-print ʙικιɴι and Marilyn-worthy platinum ‘do.
Clad in a spotted bandeau-style top, cheeky briefs and matching eye mask by iconic leather brand Zana Bayne, the mom of four showed off her famous curves for the camera.
Her hair was styled by Chris Appleton in a perfectly blown-out short crop reminiscent of Monroe’s, and Kardashian took the look even further with skinny eyebrows, thanks to makeup artist Kali Kennedy.
Friends and fans immediately clocked the connection to the iconic blonde, with model Winnie Harlow commenting, “So.. you’re telling me this isn’t Marilyn Monroe? 😍.”
One popular comment declared that the shoot was giving “a Marilyn Monroe tigers 1960s era vibe,” referring to a pH๏τoshoot the late actress did while on set the set of the 1957 film “The Prince and the Showgirl” with a stuffed tiger toy.
It’s no surprise that the Skkn by Kim founder might be channeling Marilyn; who could forget her 2022 Met Gala dress plucked from the “Some Like It Hot” star’s closet?
She swapped the controversial red carpet look — which she paired with a white fur jacket and bleached hair — for a replica upon entering the event, later changing into a second iconic look of Monroe’s post-ball.
Months after the Met, she even slipped back into Marilyn mode for a Dolce & Gabbana campaign, platinum waves and all.
It would appear gentlemen aren’t the only ones who prefer blondes.
