Kim Kardashian is ready to scale back on her Sєxy ʙικιɴι selfies
Kim Kardashian thinks it might be time to hang up her thong.
The 39-year-old reality star has made Sєxy selfies a huge part of her personal brand, regularly posting risqué swimsuit snaps on Instagram and even authoring a book (2015’s “Selfish”) packed with revealing pH๏τos — but now that she’s a mom of four and a serious law student, she’s planning to cut back.
“I guess I just don’t care as much anymore to want to take tons of pH๏τos in a thong ʙικιɴι,” Kardashian told The Cut. “I think I’m evolving to where I don’t feel the need to want to keep up.”
The shapewear mogul said that she’s begun dressing a bit more conservatively in her day-to-day life as well. “I don’t know if it’s the fact that my husband has voiced that sometimes too Sєxy is just overkill and he’s not comfortable with that … at the end of the day, he always gives me the freedom to be and do what I want,” she explained.
“But I have kind of had this awakening myself. I realized I could not even scroll through Instagram in front of my kids without full nudity coming up on my feed pretty much all the time. And I definitely contributed to that. I mean, one of my most iconic covers was the Paper magazine one, when I was all oiled up and ripping my dress off.”
Kardashian added that her work fighting for criminal justice reform and taking meetings with President Trump influenced her decision to dress more modestly, too.
“I also did think, like, ‘Okay, I’m here in the White House and then the next day I was posting, like, a crazy ʙικιɴι selfie,’” she told The Cut. “And I was thinking, ‘I hope they don’t see this.’ I have to go back there next week.”
