Kim Kardashian looks spookily Sєxy as she hangs upside down with cobwebs tangled in her hair while promoting the new season of American Horror Story
Kim Kardashian looked straight out of a nightmare in the latest advertisement for American Horror Story.
While dressed in character as Siobhan Walsh, the 42-year-old reality star posed upside down while rocking a plunging black bodysuit and matching latex gloves.
In addition to sporting spooky makeup and a bright red lip gloss, her long platinum locks were peculiarly covered in cobwebs.
Hulu posted the image on Friday with the caption: ‘Screaming, crying, already terrified. Can’t wait to see Kim Kardashian in #AHSDelicate, Part One premieres September @fxnetworks.’
The latest look comes less than two weeks after FX released a chilling sH๏τ of her with a giant black widow spider attached to her torso, with its spindly legs wrapping around her body.
The 13th season of the FX horror anthology series premieres on September 20. AHS: Delicate is adapted from the horror novel Delicate Condition by Danielle Valentine.
It follows the story of Anna (Emma Roberts), an actress who has had multiple IVF treatments and begins to become paranoid that mysterious forces are keeping her from getting pregnant but no one – including her husband – believes her.
She eventually gets pregnant, but miscarries. However, despite what the doctors told her, she can still feel her baby growing and her body shows signs of a pregnancy.
‘It is essentially a horror novel about pregnancy,’ the author told Entertainment Weekly.
‘It’s a novel exploring not just the actual physical gruesomeness of what pregnancy is, but also the medical gaslighting that even modern, very privileged women experience as they’re going through their pregnancies and the symptoms that I feel we as a culture still don’t talk about for strange reasons.’
The author added that she was more inspired by Alien than Rosemary’s Baby when penning the book.
In June, The Kardashians star (and series creator Ryan Murphy) faced criticism for filming episodes of the show during the WGA strike more than a month after production was shut down due to the strike.
Kim tweeted: ‘Hi guys! I’m on set of AHS and we have some time between sH๏τs. What are you all up to????’
Fans called her scabs and even WGA strike captain T Cooper wrote: ‘Doesn’t appear that Kim Kardashian is a friend of the labor movement,’ alongside a clip of Kardashian being driven to set in a black SUV.
But television writer Franchesca Ramsey clarified things, tweeting: ‘I’m not a fan of Kim’s but if she’s in SAG (which she likely is) there’s a no strike clause in our contract.
‘As the showrunner, Ryan Murphy is responsible for shutting down the production, not the actors. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum will play the character Siobhan Walsh, alongside Roberts as Anna Alcott and Cara Delevingne as Ivory.
Last month, a teaser dropped for the show’s upcoming 12th season, which featured the TV personality cradling a baby as a creepy rendition of the lullaby, Rock-a-bye baby, played in the background.
After a series of creepy visuals flash across the screen, like an egg falling from bird’s nest and an empty crib swinging back and forth, the performer made direct eye contact with the camera.
The SKIMS founder rocked a pair of elbow-length black gloves, red lipstick, bleached eyebrows and extremely long fake eyelashes.
Reactions to the trailer poured in on Twitter as one social media user admitted: ‘I didn’t understand how she’d fit into the show when it was announced, but so far (appearance wise), she looks really really good!’
Another tweeted: ‘Omg woah she looks so cool.’
Others compared the entrepreneur to a ‘shape shifter’ and even marveled that she looked like Selling Sunset’s Christine Quinn.
Still some felt that the series is just ‘pulling celebrity names out of a hat and casting them.’
