However, it’s likely that this bold color might just be a temporary look for a SKKN brand shoot given her next Instagram slide showed the fashion-forward star back to her brunette roots.
This isn’t the first time Kardashian has played with color. In 2017, the Kardashians icon unveiled an icy blue mane on Christmas Eve, opting for a lime green wig the following year. Fast forward to February 2019, Kardashian sported scarlet strands, relaunching the look in 2020. “You guys, I dyed my hair red. Do you love it?” the reality TV personality asked her followers in a clip on her Instagram Stories at the time.
The temporary transformation comes on the heels of a fad embraced by many celebrities. Last year, the red hair craze was reignited by popular figures like Chrissy Teigen and Megan Fox, aligning with the fiery shades seen in the live-action remake of The Little Mermaid starring Halle Bailey. This year, Khloé Kardashian opted for a touch of strawberry, adding to the family’s fashionable takes on the trend.
Captioning an Instagram post, “Strawberry Shortcake Vibes 🍓🍓,” the 40-year-old Good American co-founder embraced the new coppery color with a series of selfies shared with fans on Tuesday, May 21. The eldest sister of the Kardashian bunch has also rocked the hue. In 2023, Kourtney Kardashian, 45, said goodbye to her signature dark coif to debut a new burgundy bob.
Kim has four kids — North, 11, Saint, 8, Chicago, 6 and Psalm, 5 — that she shares with her ex-husband, Kanye West. The proud mom is currently enjoying the single life, focusing instead on her family and career.
