Kris Jenner calls Kim Kardashian’s home a ‘circus’ but she loves her ‘sanctuary’
Kim Kardashian is hanging onto her home, a place she calls a “sanctuary of calm,” despite her mom, Kris Jenner, describing her household as a “circus” on The Kardashians. The mom-of-four is “really tired” in season 5 but her multi-million dollar mansion is somewhere she can find peace.
The Kardashians is following Kim Kardashian and her family members as they navigate all kinds of things in life. Khloé, Kourtney, Kylie, Kendall, and their mom, Kris are jet-setting, welcoming new additions to their family, and celebrating the festive period in season 5.
But in an exclusive with People Magazine, Kim reveals she is holding onto the home she bought with her ex, Ye, 10 years ago, because it’s her “sanctuary of calm.”
The former couple bought the home for $23 million in 2014, writes People. Despite no longer being in a relationship with Ye, Kim is keen to hang onto the house. She says she can’t ever imagine moving from the property.
Kim’s dream birthday says it all
During this season of The Kardashians, it seems Kim’s four kids are getting a bit much for her to handle.
She’s mom to North, 11, Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm West, 5.
The SKIMS founder complains about her birthday during episode 4 and tells Kris: “I was stuck watching boxing videos on YouTube, FIFA tournaments, Color Me Mine, this is not what i wanted to be doing on my birthday… I was tortured…”
Kim describes her perfect birthday: “To lock my door, not get out of my bed and eat cookies and cream ice cream all day long…”
However, it seems her “safe haven” has a “design” she adores and her home is enough to give her the respite she needs.
She tells People: “When I step inside after a busy day, it creates a sense of peace that allows me to truly be present with my kids. After all, at the end of the day, that’s what matters most.”
