MAKING MOVES Kardashian family makes major career move with new TV series after anti fans beg for ‘boring’ Hulu show to be ‘canceled’

THE Kardashians have launched a new two-part TV series called The Kardashians: A Billion Dollar Dynasty.

The documentary will air on E! on May 1, marking the family’s first return to the network since Keeping Up With The Kardashians ended in 2021.

The series is being produced by Optomen and sold internationally by All3Media International, Variety revealed. The show explores how the billionaire family built up their extreme wealth through various businesses and reality shows.

Guests on the documentary include The Hills stars Heidi and Spencer Pratt, the Kardashians’ former manager, former People Magazine editor-in-chief Larry Hacket, and E! co-founder Larry Namer.

The show premiered in the UK on Channel 4 in January. Several wild claims have already emerged from the show, including reports that Kim staged being flour-bombed for publicity.

There is also never-before-seen footage of Kim chatting to stars and “networking” at fashion shows before she sH๏τ to fame. Spencer Pratt showed off his private collection of tapes of the SKIMS founder and claimed she was “thirsty” and “targeted fame.”

The documentary has been sold to numerous countries, including Scandinavia, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland.

Rachel Job, senior VP of non-scripted at All3Media International, said: “The Kardashians are one of the most identifiable brands in the world so we are thrilled to be able to deliver a series with such impressive global appeal to clients across three continents.”

The Kardashians sH๏τ to fame with their show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which aired on E! for more than 20 seasons. After wrapping up the show, the family struck a deal with Hulu for The Kardashians, which launched in 2022 and was recently renewed for season three.

Critics slammed season two of The Kardashians as “the worst season yet” and begged for the “boring” show to be canceled.

The biggest complaints were how “boring” the show had become, with others feeling that it is now only an extended ad for the sisters’ many products and endeavors.

Storylines in the season included Kylie Jenner’s second pregnancy, Kourtney Kardashian’s wedding with Travis Barker, and the family’s attendance at the 2022 Met Gala.

FAN BACKLASH

But missing from this season was any type of mention or reference to serious issues and events, like the tragedy at Astroworld, and barely a mention of Kim Kardashian’s relationship with Pete Davidson.

Likewise, Kim’s ex-husband Kanye West was not featured at all. Momager Kris Jenner serves as an executive producer and has the final say as to what does and does not make the cut of each episode.

Critics have slammed the family for flaunting their wealth and the success of their businesses instead of showing their real-life dramas. “Nothing happens on The Kardashians anymore!” complained one reviewer.

On Rotten Tomatoes, the Kardashians have received a paltry 21 percent approval from fans. Online, many fans have been vocal about their feelings.

“Kardashians is such a chore to watch lately,” one former fan remarked. “It’s just constant ads and product placement.” Another added: “There’s no fun anymore. There’s no wholesomeness or genuine sibling conversations. It feels all rehearsed.”

A third summarized: “There’s no reference to what is really going on in their lives – it’s just ads.”

NEW SEASON

The third season will be released on May 25. Among the various sH๏τs of family members and friends was a familiar face: Scott Disick.

Kourtney Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend promised that viewers are in for an exciting season, saying: “I’ve never seen this much drama in my life.”

Scott, 39, has been missing since the end of the show’s first season, but fans on social media seem ready to welcome his return.

“Scott is back!” one person celebrated. “Last season was so dry without him.”

“The Lord is back,” another added, as a third posted: “He needs his own show.”
