KOURTNEY Kardashian has not overdone it when it comes to her Christmas tree.
Out of all the Kardashian sisters, Kourtney is the one who does her best not to go over the top too much. The Kardashians are known to celebrate the Christmas season to the fullest, especially Kourtney’s sister Kim Kardashian, 43.
Compared to Kim, the Poosh founder’s holiday decorations are more modest. Recently Kourtney took to her Instagram Stories to share a snap of her lit-up Christmas tree.
Her tree stood tall, but not too tall, in the living room of her home. Kourtney’s lit-up tree looked similar to the holiday decor Kim was recently ripped for. The billionaire businesswoman showed off the thousands of tiny lights that festooned the driveway leading up to her $60 million home in Hidden Hills on Sunday.
Kim shared a video of the trees all along the path lit up with silver lights strung around the trunk and leaves. As Michael Buble’s version of It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas played in the background, she pulled into her extended driveway.
DECK THE YARD
The black security wall separated to reveal dozens of trees inside her front yard also illuminated with glimmering lights. Critics slammed the decorations in an online thread.
“It so confusing with all the light, and then compared the house looks like the entrance to a maximum security prison,” one wrote. “How can you let a billion lights look so boring and pale? She just never disappoints,” another added.
“Looks like a mausoleum decorated for a Black Mirror Christmas,” a third said. One user blasted Kim for not choosing more colorful decorations to please her four children – North, 10, Saint, 7, Chicago, 5, and Psalm, 4.
“Instead of Christmas cheer for her 4 small kids she chooses aesthetic,” they raged. “I can’t figure out if it looks magical and nice in person or tacky. From the video, I don’t like it.”
KIM’S WONDERLAND
This isn’t the first year Kim has converted her driveway into a Christmas wonderland. Last year, she shared a practically identical video revealing her drive to her door.
In another video, Kim stood at the entrance to her cavernous bathroom, which featured concrete floors, a marble chair, a long shower, and a sunken bath. She showed off the line of trees festooned with lights outside her huge floor-to-ceiling windows. “Look at how magical,” the mother-of-four told fans.
“In my bathroom, I always have plants out there, and there’s like a whole balcony and you can go in my shower out there. But now this is all I see and it is so beautiful.”
