Rihanna showed off a hypnotizing smile as she arrived at her H๏τel in New York City on Tuesday evening.
The 35-year-old pop superstar looked happy and relaxed following a dinner out in the city.
She was dressed for comfort in a loose-fitting brown zip-up hoodie that left a hint of her burgeoning baby bump revealed at the bottom.
The hitmaker returned to the Big Apple the day before following a trip to Paris with her partner A$AP Rocky, who didn’t appear to have joined her for her night out.
Rihanna (born Robyn Rihanna Fenty) paired her top with a set of baggy blue maternity jeans, and she brightened up her ensemble with a set of brilliant white sneakers.
She complemented her hoodie with a brown-and-tan crescent-shaped Louis Vuitton handbag slung over her shoulder, and she wore a chunky set of black shades.
Her long raven tresses were swept back on one side and fanned out over her shoulder on the other. The day before, Rihanna had been spotted taking care of some shopping at a Target in the city.
She was accompanied by her niece Majesty for the evening outing. Prior to her Paris trip and her return to New York, Rihanna and Rocky had been seen spending time across the country in Los Angeles.
So far, Rihanna has stayed mostly quiet about her new pregnancy, which she confirmed with a figure-baring outfit during her Super Bowl halftime show in February, but she was seen earlier this month examining a pastel pink knitted romper, which led to speculation that she might be expecting a baby girl.
The songstress has been similarly tight-lipped about her young son, whom she gave birth to in May of 2022, and she and Rocky have yet to publicly reveal his name.
The Diamonds singer and the Distorted Records rapper have been together since 2020 and already share a nine-month-old son.
After the Super Bowl and the pregnancy reveal, the couple appeared on the March cover of Vogue.
Speaking to the magazine, Rihanna said Rocky is her ‘best friend’ and admitted she can’t remember what her life was like before having her son in May 2022.
She said of becoming a mother: ‘It’s everything. You really don’t remember life before, that’s the craziest thing ever.’
Rihanna said her first few months as a mother were a rollercoaster and described giving birth as a ‘head-f***,’ saying she couldn’t believe she entered the hospital pregnant and left with a baby.
She joked about how she was a master of dressing up her baby bump — ‘Dressing for pregnancy was such a piece of cake’ — but she struggled to find the right post-pregnancy clothing, even though she quickly revealed that she was pregnant again.
‘The week that I came home from the hospital — that was nothing but sweats and hoodies. But the weeks after that, you don’t know what to put on. Everything is too small or too big,’ she complained.
Rihanna admitted that having a child has also made her reevaluate as she described raising her son as one of the ‘scariest’ responsibilities ever in her life.
She said: ‘Raising a young Black man is one of the scariest responsibilities in life […] ‘You’re like, ‘What am I leaving my kids to? This is the planet they’re gonna be living on?’
‘Everything changes when you have a baby, but I wouldn’t say it’s done anything but made us closer.’
During her show-stopping halftime show appearance at the super Bowl, Rihanna delighted her fans with a rendition of her hit Umbrella, along with several other popular songs.
On Monday, Kesha paid tribute to the singer and her 2007 song when she covered Umbrella on NBC’s That’s My Jam. Instead of playing it straight, she transformed the tune into a glam rock single to fit the episode’s theme.
