Shakira wowed fans as she donned a racy outfit for her performance of her break-up hit on The Tonight Show.

The 46-year-old singer appeared on stage wearing an all black outfit made up of a corset top with daring cut-outs to show an extra bit of cleavage, a leather pair of high waisted trousers with leather chaps.

She showed up on stage with a sparkling microphone to perform her track TQG since breaking up with ex Gerard Piqué.

The pair, who share two children, called time on their relationship in June after over a decade together after pop star reportedly discovered his cheating.

The track Shakira chose to perform made several references to her ex and his brand new 23-year-old girlfriend.

Shortly after Shakira spoke about her break-up with the show’s host, Jimmy Fallon, admitting that the song was “a healthy way to channel my emotions”, while adding that she had to “put up with so much cr*p”.

Shakira told viewers: “It’s been unbelievable to feel the reaction from so many people. I think that people really connect with music when it’s real and it’s genuine, it comes from a real place.

“The thing with this song is that it has become like an anthem for so many women out there. I’ve had a very rough year after my separation and writing this song has been so important to me. It’s been a healthy way to channel my emotions,” she added.

She concluded, saying: “I feel that after we put out this song, I not only felt like I had fans but a sisterhood of women who have been through the same things, who think the way I think, feel the way I feel and had to put up with so much cr**, the way I had to.”

Man fans have called Shakira’s new song a “diss track” for Piqué.
