Shakira and her close circle of friends help her settle into life in Miami

Colombian superstar Shakira is settling into her new life in Miami after her split from former Barcelona footballer Gerard Pique in June 2022.

The ex-couple’s children, Milan and Sasha, have also been getting to grips with their new surroundings and have been seen accompanying their mother at both sporting and musical events

Despite the relatively short amount of time that the Colombian has been in Miami, she has quickly formed a close circle of friends.

The 46-year-old hasn’t hesitated to broadcast on social media her new company in Miami and how little she seems to miss her past life in Barcelona.

Musician and producer, Emilio Estefan, has become an important part of Shakira’s new life in the United States.

Estefan, who is married to Cuban-American artist Gloria Estefan, posted a pH๏τo where he’s seen embracing Shakira. The post is accompanied by the caption: “We welcome you with open arms because we are your family!”

Together with Emilio she attended the concert of her close friend, Juan Luis Guerra, in Fort Lauderdale.

“What luck and what a luxury to be able to listen live to Juan Luis Guerra, my spiritual brother and one of the artists who has filled so many moments of my life and the lives of my people,” said the Colombian singer in an Instagram story.

Her son, Milan, who is reportedly a big music fan, also attended the concert alongside other close friends such as Prince Royce and Manuel Turizo.

“How nice to meet with friends and colleagues,” she said on social media accompanied by a picture of the trio.

Both Royce and Turizo collaborated on several of Shakira’s records.

Shakira’s close group of friends are clearly playing a crucial role as she settles into her life in Miami
