Shakira announces 2024 tour with stop in Alamo City

She surprised fans at Coachella on Friday by performing a few songs, then teased her upcoming tour.

Shakira is coming to San Antonio!

The Grammy, and Latin Grammy award-winning artist just announced the first dates on her highly anticipated Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, including a stop at the Frost Bank Center on Saturday, Nov. 16.

Known for her dynamic and high-energy performances, she will bring tracks from her new album and legendary catalog of hits to life on stage.

Shakira surprised fans at Coachella last Friday by performing a few songs, then announced her upcoming 2024 tour.

That is the second time she has surprised fans with a live performance. Last month, after her new album release, Shakira shut down New York City’s Times Square giving a crowd of 40,000+ fans a peek into the energy of her live shows when she performed at the TSX Stage. She performed hits like “Hips Don’t Lie,” “Te Felicito/TQG,” and “Session 53,” as well as “Puntería” and “Cómo Dónde y Cuándo” from her new album.

General tickets go on sale Monday, April 22 at 10 a.m. at FrostBankCenter.com or on Ticketmaster.com. For exclusive presale access, sign up at Frost Bank Center’s All Access Newsletter and select the “Latin” genre.

Her new album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, became the most streamed album of the year with over 10 billion within 24 hours of its release, and was certified 7x platinum.

This is Shakira’s first tour since 2018, when she wowed fans at sold out stadiums and arenas around the planet with the El Dorado World Tour, cementing her reputation as “an international pop goddess” (Rolling Stone).
