For a long time, there was a rumor that Shakira and Antonela Roccuzzo did not have a good relationship, but it seems that they do get on… and quite well, in fact.
Lionel Messi’s wife has once again shown her support for the Colombian, something she has done several times of late.
The most recent example of this was after Shakira posted one of the outfits she wore at the MTV Video Music Awards 2023, wearing a beautiful dress from the prestigious fashion brand Versace.
“Thanks Versace for this specially custom made dress in one of my favorite colors,” the singer wrote alongside a series of pH๏τos of her wearing the sky blue dress at the show.
Messi’s wife interacted with Shakira’s post, commenting “Beautiful” along with applause emojis.
More than 12,000 people liked Antonela’s reply and she received several positive comments herself, after writing to Shakira.
“Just like you, goddess,” was one of the replies to the reply.
That wasn’t the first time that Antonela Roccuzzo had clearly and publicly stood in Shakira’s corner.
The Argentine also replied to another post earlier this year, sharing some broken heart emojis after Shakira had spoken about her emotional heartbreak.
