Shakira’s New Music Video Features the Person Who Allegedly Clued Her in to Gerard Pique’s Infidelity

Shakira is truly living her best, petty life, and her fans can’t get enough of it. A few months back, Shakira allegedly set up an elaborate middle finger towards Gerard Piqué and his mother (which involved a witch animatronic). People have tried to have her replace lyrics in her songs to spare Piqué, but she’s not having it. In fact, she’s doubling down with a surprising act in her latest music video.

For her new music video with the band Fuerza Régida enтιтled “El Jefe,” Shakira hired a woman named Lili Melgar, who was their longtime nanny that Piqué allegedly fired without compensation.

Along with Melgar appearing in the video with Shakira, she also sang to her “This song is for you, since you weren’t paid severance/Another fart, as always.”

Per DailyMail, Melgar was allegedly fired without pay by Piqué after she reportedly told Shakira about his infidelity.

The Shakira Perfumes founder and Piqué were together for over a decade, until 2022, after they released a joint statement saying they split. This statement was posted soon after the cheating allegations came out, and since then, fans have suspected he reportedly cheated with his current girlfriend Clara Chia Marti.

The two share two children together named Milan and Sasha, whom Melgar was the nanny for for literal years.

Along with Melgar allegedly telling Shakira about Piqué’s infidelity, it’s also been alleged that Shakira was clued in on the affair after finding her go-to jam that he despised was used while she was on tour, per StyleCaster.
