‘She’s legit copying my wedding!’: Furious Kourtney Kardashian breaks down in tears over Kim Kardashian’s deal with Dolce & Gabbana
Throughout the first two episodes of Hulu’s The Kardashians Season 3, Kim Kardashian has expressed trepidation about taking a deal to serve as the creative director for Dolce & Gabbana’s fashion show in Milan.
Kim, 42, had said privately in confession at the end of last week’s episode that she was, ‘a little bit worried’ about how Kourtney would react to the deal.
‘For me to do a project like this just means so much to me, like it really really does, but I am a little worried about Kourtney, just because, I’m never gonna fight with family, bottom line. I don’t know, like, I just don’t want this to kill my vibe, so… let’s talk about it,’ Kim said to close out last week’s episode.
As it turns out, those worries were warranted, with a preview for next week’s fourth episode of The Kardashians showing Kourtney breaking down in tears over the deal.
The brief preview clip shows Kourtney talking about it with Kendall, both back in Los Angeles, while Kim finalizes the show in Milan, with Kendall apparently joining Kim in Milan after talking with Kourtney.
‘She sees it as it like the dollar signs. I’m sorry it just upsets me,’ Kourtney says through tears while talking to Kendall. ‘Cause it’s not about like business, it’s just like legit copying my wedding,’ she tells Kendall.
Meanwhile, back in Milan, Kim gets word that Kourtney is mad about the D&G deal, as Kendall tells her Kourtney is, ‘Mad at Mom, everyone.’
Earlier in the episode, Kim was prepping for a pH๏τoshoot for the D&G show before heading to Milan, explaining how the deal came about. Kim is hanging out with Kylie, who asks Kim if she designed their whole collection for the show, as Kim explains.
‘So basically, they said to me they loved all my looks that they’ve been seeing. Like when I went to the Celine Dion concert like years ago, I had them make this all crystal thing,’ she said.
‘And they’re like, “Your looks that you’ve always picked are really cool. Would you ever creative direct our show in September and be like the designer?’ Kim says.
Kim explains that when the show opens they want, ‘all this video footage of me and they pulled old footage of me when i was in Portofino and stuff, but I was like, what if we do our own video so it’s like new content that the person is seeing, and we do that as the teaser? So that’s what I’m doing today.’
Kim adds in confession that there is, ‘so much to do before we leave for Milan, adding they are leaving in a few days and have, ‘so much content to shoot.’
Kim tells Kylie they are going through over 120 looks in two weeks and, ‘from that we’re going to go down to like 80,’ adding in confession, ‘I love the challenge.’
‘As the creative director, I came up with the looks that I wanted, recreating all of the looks from the 90s, everything down to the accessories, the shoes, to have these Kim-esque looks,’ she says in confession.
Kim tells Kylie that all of the looks she thought was cool in the 90s are going to be available to purchase.
Kim adds in confession that she is, ‘a little worried about Kourtney, just because Dolce was really close to Kourt’s wedding. I kind of wanted them to have their moment. I just wish there was like more time that could pᴀss before I could really take this opportunity.’
They show footage of Kim’s pH๏τoshoot with the various looks, adding in confession she is, ‘nervous’ to see people’s reactions.
