Starbucks in H๏τ water with Taylor Swift fans over ‘Sєxist’ promotion

Taylor has reportedly split from her Brit boyfriend Joe Alwyn

Starbucks has been forced to issue an apology after Taylor Swift fans slammed their “gross” and “misogynistic” promotion after her split with Joe Alwyn.

After news of their split became public, one Starbucks store decided to put up a sign asking their customers: “Which Taylor Swift ex are you?”

The options available were Harry Styles, Joe Jonas, Tom Hiddleston, Taylor Lautner, John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal, Calvin Harris and Joe Alwyn.

Each name had a drink option beneath, such as H๏τ vanilla latte and decaf americano. Sharing a pH๏τo of the sign on Twitter, her fans slammed Starbuck and said the promotion was done “in such poor taste.”

One fan wrote: “This is so gross @starbucks wtf ???”

Another said: “Which location is this??? I want to give one star rating to this place.”

A third insisted: “Okay where is this i’m kicking it down.”

“The way people are immediately going back to the misogynistic comments about her dating life as if she didn’t just get out of a 6 year relationship??!! Like I thought we were done with that this is so sad,” one fan commented.

In response to the backlash, Starbucks has ᴀssured people that the sign had been removed. They tweeted: “Thank you for bringing this to our attention. This certainly doesn’t uphold our mission and values, and the sign been taken down by the store.”

Taylor and Joe split after six years together after struggling to make their relationships work. A source said Taylor is doing okay after the split and added that it was “amicable.”
