“Stop This Now” – Gerard Pique’s Heartbroken Mum Accuses Shakira of Grandchildren’s Change in Atтιтude, as Per Reports

Shakira’s VMA award did not stop the ghosts from her past from creeping in. This time, it is the mother of her former partner, Gerard Pique, who is accusing the Colombian singer of changing the atтιтudes of her grandchildren. The former couple were previously at odds over holiday plans of their kids for Christmas, and this is yet another addition to the fallout.

The kids currently spend their time between each household. However, Pique’s mother, Montserrat Bernabeu, can’t help but feel saddened by the fact that she no longer lives with her grandchildren as she used to. With Shakira relocating to Miami, Milan, and Sasha no longer spend time with their paternal grandparents, a situation that has left Montserrat heartbroken.

According to Excelsior, after her son’s infidelity with Clara Chia, her grandchildren grew more distant from her. Reportedly during the children’s last visit to Barcelona, Pique’s mother noticed that they had changed significantly. Both seemed more interested in their cell phones than in spending time with their grandparents. Additionally, the young ones have stopped referring to Joan Pique as ‘avi’ (grandfather) and Montserrat as ‘ona’ (grandmother), supposedly because Shakira had prohibited them from doing so.

“Stop this now. It can’t be that the kids don’t even want to go to the mountains because of the phone”. Indeed, it is quite an eyebrow-raising claim from Montserrat. It’s still unclear if the ‘Waka-Waka’ singer has a role in this. Meanwhile, Pique’s mother is spending time with her son’s current significant other, Clara Chia, as the two take a vacation by the sea.
