Sydney Sweeney looks effortlessly chic in a green maxi dress as she heads out on a boat with pals during the Venice Film Festival

Sydney Sweeney led the stars stepping out during Venice Film Festival on Friday.

Stars and directors traditionally enjoy travelling to the lagoon city to launch their films.

However, this year will offer a bit less sparkle than usual because a Hollywood actors’ strike will prevent many stars from promoting their work here.

After receiving a helping hand onto the boat, Sydney threw her hands in the air while her friend snapped away.

Lili Reinhart, known for portraying Betty Cooper on teen drama series Riverdale, also took a water taxi with boyfriend Jack Martin.

The actress, 26, smiled as she took in the breathtaking views while the boat cruised through the city.

Olga Kurylenko, 43, was also in attendance on Friday. The Bond actress showed off her style in a blue patterned jumpsuit as she arrived for the 80th Film Festival.

Beatrice Vendramin and Demet Ozdemir were spotted arriving in the city for the occasion.

Meanwhile, director Wes Anderson attended a pH๏τocall for his film The Wonderful Story Of Henry Sugar.

It is an adaptation of Roald Dahl’s story about a rich man who sets out to master an extraordinary skill to cheat at gambling.

Mads Mikkelsen also attended a pH๏τocall for the movie Bastarden (The Promised Land.
