TAKE IT BACK Kim Kardashian mocked in new SKKN video as fans demand she ditch ‘failed’ skincare line and ‘bring back’ former business

KIM Kardashian fans have demanded a major shift-change in the star’s business plan.

The Kardashian star’s loyal Instagram following are calling for her to “bring back” her former cosmetics business, KKW Beauty – and ditch what they deem her “failed” skincare enterprise.

It came after Kim, 42 – who also owns top shape-wear range SKIMS – posted a sophisticated video showing her skincare range SKKN’s latest products.

The sun-soaked scenes showed the product bottles being drenched in water before they were applied to a female’s skin. A generous scoop of cream was pulled out of a tub before being smoothed out on a surface.

KKW Beauty and KKW Fragrance are now known as SKKN, which was launched in June 2022.

Earlier this year, fans were raving over the SKKN products. Yet their appeтιтe for the high-end skincare appears to have soured.

Mom of four Kim wrote in her Instagram caption: “The @skkn end of summer sale is here. Save up to 25% sitewide with code BUYMORESKKN.”

One fan was quick to reply: “Sis we don’t care about the skincare bring back your makeup.”

Another pulled out a product reference and wrote: “Bring back the kkw beauty lip liners,” as one followed: “We need Khloe perfume and your makeup line to come back please.”

A Hulu fan then wrote: “We need the makeup!!!!!” Others were less complimentary of the products themselves, with one branding them a “waste of money.”

Yet some gushed over the new deals and one fan posted: “Love the design.”

PRICEY SWITCH

Last year, fans were looking forward to the launch of SKKN, especially when they found out the line was going to be rebranded KKW Beauty products.

Loyal KKW Beauty users were excited to restock on the familiar products they have come to love. That was, until they saw the price tag and almost fell out of their chair.

The prices — $90 for hyaluronic acid and vitamin C8 serum, $75 for eye cream — were cause for a serious case of sticker shock. Even the least expensive item, a $43 cleanser, is no bargain.

The refills of the products were also in question because they are the same size as the original packaging and don’t seem to reduce waste.

When promoting her KKW line, Kim often recruited the help of model sister Kendall for her commercials. Yet some fans have been left wholly convinced by the star’s brand.

They exclusively told The Sun how they are “eating their words” after purchasing five products, including a cleanser.
