Taylor Swift rewards 5 million USD for drivers

Singer Taylor Swift spends $ 5 million to reward 50 drivers carrying equipment for Eras Tour.

According to  TMZ, Taylor gave each person 100,000 USD before the concert on July 29 in Santa Clara, California, thanking them for transporting equipment and props for her tour around the US.

The source said that in addition to the driver, she also rewards the band members, dancers, sound and lighting technicians, caterers and others. The source of  TMZ  said “the amount is very generous”.

The four-month Eras Tour is her sixth tour to promote all of her releases, including her latest album Midnights (2022). The tour has been described as “a journey through my musical eras”.

Federal Reserve officials say the tour boosts the local economy, especially restaurants and H๏τels. According to online research group QuestionPro, Taylor Swift’s concerts in US cities generate an economic impact of $5 billion, more than the gross domestic product of 50 countries.

TMZ  reports that Taylor’s nationwide concerts have brought in approximately $1 billion in revenue. Eras Tour  is expected to reach $1.4 billion when it ends in 2024, becoming the first tour by an artist to surpᴀss the billion-dollar mark.

Taylor Swift, 33 years old, is an American singer-songwriter, who rose to prominence through country music in 2006. After 10 albums, Swift received 12 Grammy Awards and 29 Billboard Awards.
