Taylor Swift’s 34th Birthday Cake Has the Cutest Message Nodding at Her Huge Year

Taylor Swift rang in her 34th year in the sweetest way.

On Thursday, the “Karma” singer shared pH๏τos from her star-studded birthday party in New York City on Dec. 13, which was complete with a Milk Bar cake, PEOPLE confirms.

In the snaps, Swift’s close pal Zoë Kravitz held up the cake from Christina Tosi’s popular bakery chain known for its inventive desserts. The three-layer confection was topped with “Birthday Girl of the Year” written in chocolate. (Swift was named Time’s Person of the Year and graced the cover of PEOPLE’s Most Intriguing People of the Year issue.)

The 10-inch treat, which serves about 30 people, was the company’s signature vanilla birthday cake flavor with vanilla icing, crunchy crumbs and rainbow sprinkles. It was finished with candles for Swift to blow out.

“Can’t believe this year… actually… happened? Thank you for all your beautiful birthday wishes yesterday. 🥲” she captioned the post on Instagram.

The guest list for her 34th birthday party was stacked with her famous friends including Blake Lively, Sabrina Carpenter, Antoni Porowski, Jack Antonoff, the Haim sisters Gigi Hadid and more. Swift’s long-time best friend, Abigail Anderson, who’s mentioned in her popular song “Fifteen,” also appeared alongside the group in the pictures. The group celebrated at Banzarbar, a cocktail bar above popular New York City H๏τ spot, Freeman’s.

Swift’s beau Travis Kelce was not there, as he had mandatory practices before the Kansas City Chiefs take on the New England Patriots on Sunday.

That same night, Swift was spotted arriving with Lively to the party at The Box nightclub in Manhattan. She wore a Clio Peppiat Lucina Embellished Stretch-mesh black mini dress.

The popstar’s choice of cake should come as no surprise to mega Swifties. In her 2016 Vogue 73 Questions interview, Swift said the best birthday cake she’s ever had was from Milk Bar.

“It was so good, even Jay Z raved about it,” she said at the time.

For fans outside of New York, Milk Bar ships their desserts nationwide.
