Travis Scott released with no charges after Paris arrest during 2024 Olympics

Travis Scott has been released and no charges have been filed against him stemming from his Paris H๏τel incident during the 2024 Olympics, according to the rapper’s reps.

The “Goosebumps” recording artist, 33, was arrested early Friday after getting into argument with his bodyguard at the posh Four Seasons Hotel George V in the French capital.

But his reps told Page Six by Saturday morning, “Travis Scott has been released with no charges.”

A source familiar with the rap star further told us, “He was arrested over an argument with his bodyguard over getting harᴀssed and swarmed dangerously,” by paparazzi. “French police overreacted and arrested and held him for 24 hours over for an argument. [There was] no violence.”

French prosecutors have so far not issued a statement. ABC News had reported that Scott had been held overnight.

An altercation between the performer and his own bodyguard occurred at the luxe H๏τel in the posh 8th arrondissement after Scott had earlier seen the star-studded Team USA basketball squad beat Serbia at the Olympics, we reported.

A source exclusively told Page Six that at the H๏τel where Scott was staying, he and his guard had been in an argument about the local paparazzi.

“They were screaming at each other, and the H๏τel freaked out and called the cops,” an insider said of the scene.

A source also told Page Six that Scott has been hounded by paparazzi while moving around the city during the Olympics.

The source said one pap allegedly was looking in the trunk of Scott’s car when the rapper confronted his own guard asking why he had let the pH๏τographer go into the vehicle’s trunk, and the argument ensued.

Footage later emerged of Scott being hauled out of a five-star H๏τel in handcuffs.

The Paris prosecutor’s office previously said in a statement to NBC after the arrest, “I can confirm that on Aug. 9, 2024, police officers were called to the George V H๏τel and arrested the rapper nicknamed Travis Scott for ᴀssaulting a security guard.”

The statement added, “The security guard had intervened to separate the rapper from his bodyguard. The Paris public prosecutor’s office has referred the case to the 1st district of the judicial police.”

Another source close to the rap star told Page Six on Saturday morning, “He’s out, no charges.”
