What Justin And Hailey Bieber’s Astrological Compatibility Reveals About Their Marriage

You can’t talk about Hollywood “It” couples without mentioning the Biebers, a.k.a. Justin, 29, and Hailey, 26 (née Baldwin).

ICYDK, the “Baby” crooner and Rhode skincare founder—who have been married since September 2018—go way back. They first met backstage of The Today Show in November 2009 when they were young teens, thanks to Hailey’s father and stealth matchmaker, Stephen Baldwin, per Elle. There’s even footage of their adorable—and, ahem, awks—first meeting.

While the “Ghost” singer and supermodel didn’t start dating right away—after all, at the time, they were only 13 and 16, respectively—they remained good friends throughout the years.

Dating rumors speculating that the “Love Yourself” crooner and beauty mogul were an item actually only began circulating in 2014 after Justin and A-list actress-slash-singer Selena Gomez called it quits (ahem, took a break). In November of that year, Justin and Hailey were spotted attending church services at Hillsong alongside Hailey’s BFF Kendall Jenner, causing people to believe they were more than friends, according to Elle.

Well, fans weren’t wrong as less than two years later, in January 2016, the pair made their romance Instagram official shortly after Hailey joined Justin on a family vacation in Anguilla.

But round one of their romance only lasted until summer 2016. Then, Hailey and Justin went on a two-year break until 2018, in which the “Peaches” singer briefly dated model-slash-fashion-designer Sofia Richie and rekindled his romance with Selena Gomez. After Jelena split for good in March 2018, Justin and Hailey found their way back to each other and have been solid ever since. Perhaps their relationship was meant to take a detour on the way to destiny, according to the stars.

“Their compatibility is very interesting,” says intuitive astrologer Rachel Lang. “Justin has a Pisces Sun and Hailey has a Sagittarius Sun. Both signs are mutable, showing a great adaptability between the two. At the same time, they challenge one another.”

But that’s not all. Lang analyzed Justin and Hailey’s birth charts to see what their astrological compatibility reveals about the nature of their relationship and where their marriage is headed. And, well, you’ll want to keep an eye on these two next year.

Justin and Hailey’s bond is based on friendship, thanks to the Sun and Venus.

Justin’s late-degree Scorpio rising sign is in conjunction with Haley’s Sun sign in Sagittarius, indicating a strong point of compatibility, explains Lang. “Their personalities align, and they can develop a close friendship,” she notes.

It also helps that Justin’s Moon—the luminary which rules your emotional world—in Libra is in conjunction with Hailey’s Venus—the planet of love and relationships—also in Libra, Lang adds. Translation: This partnership is full of romance. What’s more? Justin’s Mars—the planet of action and drive—in Aquarius forms a harmonious trine aspect with Hailey’s Venus, “showing a good chemistry,” says Lang.

But while these two run a tight ‘ship (get it?), this marriage is not without its minor frustrations. If this pair fails to communicate about the small irritations early, Lang says, they could grow into larger resentments due to Hailey’s Mars in Virgo opposing Justin’s Sun in Pisces. In other words, communication is key in this partnership.

But Pluto and Saturn bring family challenges.

When it comes to Justin and Hailey’s astrological compatibility, you have to talk about Pluto’s activity in both of their charts, says Lang.

Pluto—the planet of transformation—has been in a square aspect with Hailey’s Moon in Aries and Venus in Libra, and these points are fatally in opposition. “Pluto’s influence shows a struggle to navigate the intense emotional ups and downs,” Lang notes.

As Pluto will continue moving through these points in Hailey’s chart for another year, per Lang, “there could be stress on [the couple’s] home and family life.” These two may have to overcome some hurdles if they plan to start a family—which they might, according to Lang, as Hailey’s Moon in Aries is in Justin’s fifth house of children, meaning “she brings out his desire to be a father.”

Justin, for his part, is currently in his Saturn return, “a cycle that represents growing up in sometimes uncomfortable ways,” Lang notes. In other words, he’s facing reality and making commitments, which may involve getting more clear on his relationship goals. Lang explains that in 2024, Saturn will be moving into Justin’s fourth house of family, so next year “may be a trying time for their home life,” says Lang. Fortunately, it’s not all bad news: “He has a lot to look forward to with these transits, and there might be discussions about moving or purchasing another property.”

This is a healing partnership for these two, due to the Moon’s influence.

Hailey can be vulnerable with him, Lang adds, which may not always be easy for her as her Saturn (the planet of rules and moral responsibilities), South Node (a destiny point which represents the talents and gifts you were born with), and Moon in Aries show that she can be guarded. Nevertheless, Justin knows “how to soften things and let love shine through.” (BRB, I seem to be leaking from my eyes.)
